The calculations in IEEE 1584 -2018 require the equipment to have a specified electrode configuration. The equipment in this report utilizes the VCB, VCBB and HCB configurations. All switchgear that has rack-out capabilities are modeled as HCB. All other equipment is calculated using both the VCB and VCBB configurations, with the worst case being reported. The open air configurations are not applicable for the equipment found on site.
