PROBLEM STATEMENT

RECOMMENDED SETTINGS

After confirming the circuit breaker settings, we recommend changing the breaker settings on the Air Compressor 5 breaker as shown in the recommended settings column to the right. This will improve coordination with Boiler RM Panel and reduce the chance of nuisance tripping or breakers not tripping in proper order. See TCC 130-01 PANEL 2 & TCCR 130-01 PANEL 2 After confirming the circuit breaker settings, we recommend changing the breaker settings on the 10000 Mepaco breaker as shown in the recommended settings column to the right. This will improve coordination with Panel 2 and reduce the chance of nuisance tripping or breakers not tripping in proper order. See TCC 140-02 10000 MEPACO & TCCR 140-02 10000 MEPACO We recommend installing a circuit breaker in the MCC to feed Panel F. This would eliminate the use of a tap system. Further engineering analysis is required based on the site and safety procedures to implement an appropriate solution. We recommend installing panic hardware on the electric room door and also ensuring the door swings out for a safe and clear exit. We recommend installing a main circuit breaker in the panels listed. The installation of a main circuit breaker would allow for downstream protection as well as eliminating any NEC violations. If a main circuit breaker cannot be installed another option would be to install a fused disconnect. Further engineering analysis is required based on the site and safety procedures to implement an appropriate solution. We recommend installing a feeder breaker in the switchboard for each panel listed. The installation of feeder breakers would allow for upstream protection of the panels as well as eliminating any NEC violations.
